we'll be ready. Will you? What does this role look like? You will
assist the Advanced EHF program as a Mission Analyst performing a
broad range of spacecraft mission design, analysis, simulation, and
implementation tasks gaining knowledge of spacecraft orbit mission
design and analysis. Typical tasks: develop spacecraft propellant
budget, spacecraft mission designs, and spacecraft and launch
vehicle interface support. Mission design includes transfer orbit
burn plans, launch windows, ground station contacts, and
stationkeeping. Under general supervision, perform analysis for
spacecraft mission design and for propellant and dry mass
Actively enrolled in a Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or
other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
This position requires a secret access to support the program and
requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen. An active
secret security clearance is needed.
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics, orbital dynamics, orbit design,
- Ability to solve a variety of technical problems of moderate
complexity in mission design and analysis, or related areas.
- Experience with trajectory/orbit design and simulation tools
(i.e. STK, Matlab, COTS mission planning tools, etc., POST,
- Able to communicate clearly on technical matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
