Job Description:

Product Configuration Analyst VMS As a Product Configuration Analyst working as part of the PLM team, you will take on a critical role in bringing an AR/VR product to customers. This person will work side-by-side with engineering & business teams that are leading innovation in this exciting new product category. The Product Configuration Analyst will support product programs by managing component & BOM creation from early concept through obsolescence. This person will be able to define system configuration best practices. You're flexible, responsive, hands-on & able to manage competing demands. - Working in Siemens Teamcenter PLM: Support the company's product projects from pre-concept through obsolescence. Create & release manufacturers, manufacturer & vendor parts, internal part numbers in the PLM system. Collect data, interpret drawings, specifications & other data sources. Create, & release Bills of Material (BOM), based on input from Engineering, Project Management & Manufacturing to support NPI & production product releases. Initiate & manage ECOs, MCOs, Deviations & Stop Ships. Communicate Engineering BOM requirements between Supply Chain & Production to facilitate material planning, order fulfillment and execution. Manage & organize complex projects & priorities, solve problems that impact release progress & provide detailed information to cross functional teams. End user support & problem resolution. Required: 5-6+ years of related experience in a high tech, fast paced, consumer electronics environment managing engineering design/documentation releases. Experience with Mechanical CAD & ERP systems.
