Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems by developing and implementing best practices in monitoring, automation, and incident response. The ideal candidate will have experience with both software development and system administration, with a focus on creating and maintaining highly available and fault-tolerant systems.



Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and availability of our services

Build and maintain automation tools to streamline system administration and deployment processes

Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems

Work closely with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Perform regular performance and capacity analysis to ensure optimal system performance

Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures

Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and ensure system availability

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, software development, or system administration

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go

Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively



Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm

Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Understanding of database administration and SQL
