This team leads the strategy and key decisions across the Company's portfolio of businesses as well as developing the strategy for and launching new ones. This is a high visibility role which will require frequent interactions both cross functionally, and with senior leadership positions across the portfolio.What you will do:

• Support strategies over their complete life cycle, from creation to maintenance and adjustments
• Lead development of key insights and makes recommendations across media, consumer & tech-related industries, including understanding of competitive dynamics and strategic value of participation in certain markets, new business model evaluation and key drivers of performance
• Work closely with executives and business unit leaders to identify, evaluate, and accelerate strategies for growth
• Accountable for managing and delivering on multiple initiatives in a highly dynamic environment, while calm under pressure
• Lead analysis and management of project workstreams to support Yahoo's corporate strategy, including new business development, corporate development (M&A), and other major corporate initiatives
• Leverages data-driven analysis to improve decision making through strategic frameworks and other structured problem-solving processes
• High senior executive visibility; you will present your analyses and recommendations to leaders across the organization and partner with them on operational executionQualifications
  • 2+ years experience in Strategy Consulting or in a strategic function within a leading Consumer Technology company
  • Must have experience in owning and driving projects to through completion individually and autonomously or experience driving and leading a team over the course of a project
  • Experience with financial modeling and data-driven analysis, such as market sizing and business plan development, that leads to decision execution
  • Must be comfortable working with large data sets to organize analysis and derive insights
  • Must have prior experience creating executive-friendly presentation materials that distill complex topics into clear and succinct deliverables
  • High intellectual curiosity, superior organizational, communication, presentation, structured thinking and analytical skills
  • Results-oriented mindset to drive complete, accurate and timely delivery of analyses and project objectives
  • A strong work ethic, and a proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • You are resourceful, agile, and flexible - where there are no solutions, you create them; where you are strapped for resources, you find scrappy ways to get the job done

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
