OverviewWe are looking for a senior staff hardware architect and design engineer who will join in the development of new digital IP cores and subsystems to extend the side channel and fault injection countermeasures of the crypto core portfolio for Security IP.Key responsibilities

• Architect to work-with a small team to bring the side channel and fault injection countermeasures in the Crypto Accelerator IP to leading edge over next few years
• Working with peers, drive the architecture, design, and implementation of state-of-the-art Side Channel Countermeasures (SCCs) for digital hardware Security IP cores
• Working with peers, head the architecture, design, and implementation of state-of-the-art Fault Injection Countermeasures (FICs) for digital hardware Security IP cores
• Close the countermeasure development loop in a hand-on fashion (investigate -> propose -> build -> evaluate -> investigate) for digital hardware Security IP cores
• Collaborate with third party assessment labs, universities, and other industry experts to help define optimal countermeasures in hardware/software/firmware for IP solutions
• Stay up to date with latest industry developments in security countermeasures
• Stay up to date with latest methodologies and tools in security countermeasuresRequirements
  • B. Eng. Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Ph.D. or Masters preferred)
  • Significant experience (15+ years) in architecture, design, and verification of digital cores
  • Significant knowledge of Cryptographic Standards (Symmetric and Asymmetric)
  • Experience with processor architectures and high throughput datapath architectures
  • Experience with designing to meet synthesis/layout timing challenges at high frequencies
  • Experience with ASIC and FPGA development flows from concept to product
  • Experience with scripting
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills

In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
