today.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Sr.
Principle Quality Analyst to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA.The
Quality Analyst will support the Quality & Mission Excellence
department and lead the Foreign Object Elimination / Foreign Object
Debris (FOE/FOD) program for the Sunnyvale site. A successful
candidate should be proactive and self-motivated. Strong written
and oral communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal
skills, and technical skills are essential for this role. Candidate
will work in a service-oriented team environment and will regularly
interface with various levels of shop floor, Manufacturing,
Operations, and Program Management personnel. The requirements of
this position are expected to allow for some mix of on-site and
teleworking, subject to employee experience/performance, and
subject to program and organizational needs.Role and
Responsibilities:
- The Quality Analyst will lead the Foreign Object Elimination /
Foreign Object Debris (FOE/FOD) program for the Sunnyvale
site.
- Collaborates with manufacturing, Operations, and Program
functions to ensure quality standards and FOE/FOD policies are in
place.
- Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and
correction.
- Ensures that FOE/FOD areas meet acceptable quality standards
and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation
and control systems and protocols.Basic Qualifications:
- STEM degree and 6 years of experience or 10+ years related
experience (in lieu of degree).
- Ability to successfully engage on the shop floor to provide
solutions and coach and mentor others in the use of quality
principles and practices
- Able to successfully engage with manufacturing and QC personnel
on the shop floor to provide solutions
- Experience developing, collecting, and analyzing metrics.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Suite, especially MS Excel, Power Point, and Word.
- Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict
deadlines
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to attain required security level clearance (US
Citizenship required).Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Foreign Object Elimination /
Foreign Object Debris (FOE/FOD) programs.
- Experience in an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System
Environment.
- Familiarity with testing techniques and tools in a fabrication,
machining, and assembly environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a
multi-discipline team environment, Demonstrated problem solving
skills in a manufacturing environment implementing solutions to
complicated technical issues.
- Ability to document, plan and manage projects.
- Experience conducting or managing internal audits.
- Possess SAP skills and experience.
- Defense Industry experience.Salary Range: $103,900.00 -
$155,900.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
