MOMA Title: Data Analyst II
Project Overview:
In Trust & Safety Scaled Ops Quality, our mission is to set the
gold standard for quality assurance in the trust and safety
industry.
Trust & Safety's extended workforce of manual reviewers is the
largest in the fraud, spam, abuse, and content moderation industry.
Establishing trusted and proven quality assurance standards for the
work of our extended workforce is critical, as incorrect decisions
made by manual reviewers can have significant implications on users
and/or on machine learning models which consume the labels produced
in the manual review process.
As a team, we define how to measure the quality of manual reviews,
build out monitoring tools and processes for the same, and ensure
that emerging quality issues are detected in a timely manner. As an
analyst, you will be enabling us to build for scale by migrating
our quality framework to one unified platform, maintaining legacy
implementations prior to migration. You will be building out and
implementing robust sampling logics, execute advanced technical
work in relation to sampling and metrics, configure our quality
tool, and interface with our Data Support Team on integrating
workflows to data/reporting pipelines, validate data and
metrics.
Overall Responsibilities:
Create new and support existing quality implementation scripts +
workflow configurations
Create new and maintain existing dashboards plus supporting data
pipelines
Execute advanced technical work in relation to sampling and
metrics
Perform detailed adhoc analysis supporting data driven
decisions
Interface with our Data Support Team on workflow integrations to
data/reporting pipelines, validate data and metrics
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Create sampling scripts based on quality implementation plans
Configure quality review tools to support quality review
processes
Troubleshoot issues with launched quality implementations
Mandatory:
BA/BS degree in a quantitative/technical discipline or equivalent
practical experience
3+ years of experience working with databases, and querying (e.g.,
SQL, MySQL, MapReduce, Hadoop)
Proven track record of building robust technical solutions from
scratch, including rigor with respect to documenting, testing, and
validating code
Ability to debug and improve existing code
Ability to effectively communicate and work cross-functionally
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical
skills
Desired:
In-depth knowledge of statistical concepts such as sampling, margin
of error, bias, and variance
3+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, operations, and/or
quality assurance
