Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a dynamic, innovative Computer Systems Analyst for our Sunnyvale, CA location. This motivated individual will be responsible for supporting the IT and cybersecurity aspects of a vibrant manufacturing shopfloor environment, consisting of embedded and standalone computers running Microsoft, Linux, and specialized operating systems as well as associated networking equipment used to interface and control complex manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organized, and agile individual open to new challenges. They must have the ability to work under their own initiative and handle conflicting priorities in a change-oriented environment.

This candidate will also oversee and manage information system solution concept development (proposal phase). Additionally, the candidate will lead the design, development, integration/test and support of information systems and security (post award). This includes managing the priorities and day-to-day activities for System Administrator and ISSO resources.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with program and IT leadership, homeroom managers, and end user groups to identify, plan, implement, and sustain IT/Cybersecurity solutions to meet program strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Assist the day-to-day functionality of the ERP, MES, and other OEM platforms
  • Work with internal and external IT partners to maintain and enhance IT Systems
  • Provide backup and support to other IT staff on installation, maintenance and updates to hardware and software Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of IT experience; or a master's degree and 7 years of IT experience
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical.
    • Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement experience
    • Proven IT project management experience and demonstrated leadership skills, including planning, scheduling, workload forecasting and proposal development.
    • US Citizenship is required for this role Preferred Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree, or a master's degree, in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering (or similar STEM related discipline) is preferred.
      • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Manager with knowledge in cost, budgets, and schedules
      • Familiarity with the Mission Systems business, government customers, and programs is a plus.
      • Previous Enterprise Services Program Manager experience.
      • Experience with Agile based practices and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
      • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, processes, and tools.
      • Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.
      • Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills with ability to drive cross functional teams to action when working in a matrix organization.
      • Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment.
        • Entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to effectively challenge the status quo while providing innovative solutions to complex IT requirements Program Management Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD
          Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD

          Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
