A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares reports on denials, credit balances, and payer
opportunities
Analyzes rejection reports and collaborates with training to
improve error rates
Researches payer trends and addresses complex account issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or GED required
Two years of experience in financial services or healthcare
business office required
College degree (bachelor's or associate) preferred
Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, specifically
Epic billing, preferred
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
