Role
ETL Data Warehouse Developer


Technical Skills
At least 2 years Finance experience is preferred, understanding of Finance data, application server, and network security

Experience in migrating on premise databases to Azure SQL Database and Azure Cloud using Azure Data factory.

Good exposure in delivering solutions on the Azure Cloud using core cloud data warehouse tools (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DW and other Big Data related technologies).Nice to have experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Power BI, and Microsoft Azure.At least 3 years experience as a project lead, team lead, etc. with the ability to mentor others


Desirable skills
Responsible to serve as a technical expert in designing robust Logical Data Models and stewarding the data design of the asset and ensuring alignment with the larger roadmap goals

Work closely with business users to determine business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings, propose future enhancements, resolve queries around existing design or any issues.

Develop and define application scope and objectives. Prepare specifications for development of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) based solutions for migrating data in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments.

Develop ADF pipelines, Migrate SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory.

Design, develop, debug and support complex data integration interfaces and processes (including stored procedure and queries) using various tools and technologies including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL and SQL Server technology.

Strong experience in MS SQL Server Database Development and Administration. Hands on experience with constructing stored procedures, triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, relational database models.

Impact analysis of changing upstream processes to Data Warehouse and Reporting systems.

Design database objects as necessary to meet ongoing business needs for reporting.

Responsible to coordinate and mentor a team of mid/junior level developers and ensure project deliverables are met

Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.

Establish, enhance, implement, enforce, and maintain ETL best practices. Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.

Create and maintain documentation.


Responsibility
6+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft technologies in development and operation of Data Warehouse, and application integration solutions via Microsoft SSIS.

Strong understanding of DW/ETL processes, OLAP concepts, SQL Queries and Stored Procedure writing.

Good hands-on experience on migrating SSIS packages to Azure ADF

Experience in migrating on premise databases to Azure SQL Database and Azure Cloud using Azure Data factory.

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Powerbi experience is nice to have.

Expert skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions; solid communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving
