Job Description

This role can be based at a LinkedIn office or remote. At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers both hybrid and remote work options, meaning you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what's best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.

We are looking for a Learning Content Designer to join the LinkedIn Talent Development team to imagine, design and implement solutions to deliver impactful digital learning experiences so employees can build the skills needed to fuel career transformation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development, you'll contribute to and lead projects to develop and drive enterprise-wide digital learning offerings for LinkedIn employees. This role translates development needs into a portfolio of courses, content and learning paths working with a cross-functional team to develop the content for these courses and promote the content across our internal comms channels, while ensuring that they deliver on identified outcomes. You'll contribute as a key member of a high-impact team that wakes up every day excited to deliver impactful experiences for our employees in support of growth and development.


  • Design, write, edit, test and iterate content for our digital learning experiences. Examples: online content (websites, asynchronous learning experiences), small bite-sized learning (micro-learning), developmental video scripts, and learner engagement emails/nudges.
  • Simplify and digitally communicate complex topics to broad audiences
  • Tell compelling digital stories, being clear about what the why is for learners and how it connects to business objectives, priorities and/or culture & values
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships and be a trusted content development partner with TD instructional designers and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Manage and maintain digital content libraries; regularly assess and create content to ensure that our learning solutions are up-to-date.
  • Maintain relationships with key TD partners to advise on the content roadmap and ensure content is updated as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for content additions and innovations to continuously improve the learning experiences.
  • Build a deep understanding of our LinkedIn Learning product and content and maintain ties with our product development team
  • Identify, curate and build LinkedIn Learning paths that align to learning objectives


    Basic Qualifications:
    • BA/BS degree
    • 3+ years of experience in corporate learning or equivalent
    • Proven content development and editing experience

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with adult learning theory
      • Experience with the design, build and delivery of primarily asynchronous digital learning offerings in large, complex global organizations.
      • Experience with cutting edge modalities of learning - from in-person to digital and virtual-based learning.
      • Strong proficiency in branding awareness through creative storytelling.
      • Experience working with leadership, marketing and key stakeholders to build and execute a multimedia content strategy.
      • Ability to program manage and juggle multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
      • Passion for and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
      • Significant business acumen, comms/marketing experience and insights to how to drive measurable adoption and success within LinkedIn
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to and influence others.
      • Detail oriented self-starter with exceptional prioritization, organization and project management skills.
      • Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.

        The pay range for this role is [$82,000 to $130,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
