About the job Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is changing the way the world uses cloud computing by exposing our infrastructure and solutions to companies of all sizes, everywhere. The Google Cloud Data, Databases and Analytics (DDA) team drives the Data related GCP products, and is organized into Execution Areas (EAs): BigQuery, Streams and Lakes, Looker, and Databases. We (DDA Product Operations) are a team within GCP to help drive strategic and operational excellence for our Execution Areas.

As Product Strategy and Operations Principal, you will work with DDA Product Management/Engineering leadership, defining, improving and executing their Business cadence (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews), driving key strategic initiatives for your assigned Execution Area, and leading processes. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects and key strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Lead internal operational and planning processes (e.g., Headcount planning, OpEx management, objective key results planning, and scoring)Support definition and execution of product management executive cadence (e.g., Quarterly Business Reviews)Work closely with product management/engineering leadership to drive product strategy developmentPartner and be the link with Go-to-Market teams (e.g. work with Customer Engineers to collect field feedback, and align on the Go-to-Market approach)Provide analytical support for your Execution Area (e.g., internal usage, key performance indicators setting, goals)
