This role offers a opportunity on Cepheid s Innovation team, which explores new technologies for Cepheid s next generation systems. This position is part of the Innovation Team and is located in Building 4, Sunnyvale. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop prototype electronic designs for new Cepheid products Test and evaluate new sensors and technology concepts Work with Cepheid Engineering teams to transition new product concepts to production-ready designs The essential requirements of the job include: 10+ years experience with board-level electronics design, debug, and test Strong analog and digital circuit design skills (up to 1 GHz speeds) Proficiency in PCB schematic development Confidence with hands-on prototyping, debugging, and testing using scopes, logic analyzers and other standard tools Excellent analysis, teamwork, and documentation skills It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Altium Designer software PCB Layout design Programming on small microcontrollers (C or C++)Cepheid, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
