Job Description

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Omaha, or Detroit.

We are looking for a Principal, Performance & Talent Partner to join the LinkedIn Talent Management team to reimagine, redesign and implement a progressive performance management approach. Specifically, this role will oversee LinkedIn's Performance Management, goal and feedback processes in line with LinkedIn's talent priorities.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Management, this position will lead the redesign of a future-focused, hybrid-suitable, equitable and inclusive performance management strategy and roadmap to ensure we develop and retain exceptional talent at LinkedIn. The final design and execution will create long-term career opportunities for our employees while driving organizational performance. Key the success of this role will be designing and driving adoption of a globally consistent process and operationalizing the approach.

Responsibilities:
As a senior member of Talent Management Center of Excellence team, this person will contribute to the global talent management/development strategy for LinkedIn.
Define our multi-year, integrated strategic vision and roadmap for Talent Management/Performance Management (TM/PM) taking into account contemporary future of work evolutions, hybrid workforce and management needs and inclusive/DIBs principles to drive systemic change and enhance equity-first talent processes.
Develop robust performance management solution to refine, manage, motivate, and unleash the full potential of our employees in a globally consistent manner.
Assess and determine appropriate tools/technology for performance and internal mobility. Partner with GTO and engineering technology leads to configure and deploy.
Build and maintain strong partnerships and partnership strategies across Compensation, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIBs), HRBPs, People Analytics, Technology, business stakeholders and external thought leaders. All solutions require cross-functional partnerships to develop systemic, holistic "One LinkedIn" solution that fosters inclusion and appreciation of our employees' unique differences and talents
Evangelize the TM/PM vision, philosophy and foundations with key stakeholders and partners, integrate roadmaps across intersecting Talent Management initiatives.
Determine talent analytics that align with overall Talent Management/Talent Development outcomes, and establish KPIs of systematic programs to determine impact and a success and adjust according to insights.
Align and support our goal-setting and feedback processes
Support the development and implementation of career principles that enable employees to take action on designing their own careers.
Work with HRBPs and regional /functional Talent Development/Management partners to activate performance and internal mobility
Manage talent analytics to assess the impact of local talent programs and adjust action plans based on insights.
Partner on the development and implementation of tools and resources that help People Leaders mentor, coach and support their employees in actioning and progressing their career mobility plans in partnership with Talent Development Leadership/Management COE
Operationalize and scale all solutions
This role will also support key components of our Talent Management practices (promotions, assessment, career development etc). There is a strong component of understanding future skills that will need to be determined and aligned through all performance management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
8 + years of experience in human resources or equivalent
5 + years of talent/performance management; organization development experience
Experience developing and implementing programs focused on career development of employees.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OD/Talent/HR consulting (internal or external) highly preferred
Demonstrated passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Experience with and passion for leading on performance management practices.
Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging values and best practices
Ability to program manage and juggle multiple priorities.
Passion for and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with internal partners at all levels across various functions of the organization.
Effective relationship builder in organizations
Strong data analytical ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable insights and develop ideas leading to action plans based on those insights.
Passion about solving for today's Talent challenges with data, insights and our products.
Experience in developing new offerings and leading transformation
Passion about helping shape the future of work, DIBs and how HR works in the new world of work and hybrid environments
Significant business acumen and insights to how to drive adoption and success within LinkedIn
5+ years in workforce, learning and/or talent transformation through emerging technologies.
5+ years of leadership experience.
5+ years of global workforce experience.

8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $125,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
