Job Description Primary Skills: Help Desk, Windows/MacOS, Microsoft O365 Outlook, ZoomDuration: 6+ Months Contract Contract Type: W2/ C2C Responsible for providing IT tech support to internal users through remote assistance, walkups, phone, tickets and chat. Evaluates situation, determines appropriate resolution or escalates to designated support or engineering team. Tracks issues escalated for resolution to ensure customer receives a timely response. Must have knowledge of the enterprises business/products such as Microsoft Windows/macOS, Microsoft O365 Outlook, OneDrive, Zoom, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, VMWare virtual environment and demonstrate strong customer focused/interpersonal skills. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Ability to support customers via remote assistance, phone, walkups, chat proficiently Proactively respond to incidents and technical service requests as they arise Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, virtual machines, VPN, mobility devices andproductivity softwaresuch as Microsoft O365, Zoom, BeyondTrust (Bomgar) Diagnose hardware issues and replace faultycomponents Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and hardwarecompatibility Track requests, issues and solutions using ServiceNow. Required Qualifications: Associate degree/Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years in a technical support role 3+ years supporting Windows and macOS hardware and software Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle pressures well in a fast paced, team environment Excellent customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Networking HW, LAN and Wi-Fi, DNS troubleshooting Knowledge of Active Directory users and groups Preferred Qualifications: Jamf JSS knowledge or Jamf200 and 300 (CCT and CCA) certificationsis a PLUS Microsoft certification is a PLUS Experience with security tools like Symantec andMcAfee Akraya is an award-winning IT staffing firm and the staffing partner of choice for many leading companies across the US.
