In Redford, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistant and telematic systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focusses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center.The purpose of this job is to drive the success of the IT department by actively supporting the CIO in a variety of areas. You are responsible for coordinating IT Management related projects as well as managing the CIO's calendar, inbox and travel arrangements. This job requires discretion, confidentiality, and detailed knowledge of the organization's operations, procedures, and people. You will be joining a diverse environment at the intersection of R&D, product and strategy which drives innovation into the Mercedes-Benz car portfolio, so you must have the willingness to be the resource for all team members and eagerness to support whenever feasible.Job Responsibilities: Owns and coordinates IT Management related projects from requirement definition, planning, implementation to successful deliveryDefines projects plans and manages scope of projects, goals and deliverables.Manages the stakeholders by setting proper expectations and reporting about progress, problems, solutions.Manages project budget if applicable.Manages Purchase Orders of the IT department.Manage day-to-day functions for the CIO including, inbox monitoring, scheduling, travel planning, etc. Responsible for company-wide IT communication in close alignment with communications lead.Interact with the executive team on a daily basis and coordinates on-site and off-site meetings, presentations, workshops, conferences, telephone or video conferences, etc. Be proactive and always one step ahead of the curve.Contributes to the excellent reputation of the CIO's office through professional, friendly and respectful interactions internally and externally.Minimum Qualifications: Associate in Business Administration, Project Management, Graphic Design, Engineering, Psychology or related field.Excellent organizational and communication skills. Solid project coordination, scheduling, resourcing, and administrative skills.
