We're seeking Android embedded software engineer to develop
and to support Android Automotive OS for our infotainment system.
The candidate will focus on Android audio related feature
development, bug fixes and integration with other vehicle audio
system features.
The Role
- Play a key role to build in vehicle audio system
- Work with Product, embedded, Application/UI team to develop a
state of the art Car Audio system,
- Ownership of audio software development, integration with other
components and partners.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years of experience in Android Audio Framework and Audio HAL
development.
- Good to have experience with A2B network and aDSP
development.
- Good to have experience with development of systems utilizing
Qt/QML or QNX applications
- Expertise with Android, C/C++, Java.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced
environment
- Consistent record of developing products with an eye for
simplicity
- Domain knowledge and experience of Android audio system
including Android media application framework, media native
framework, media server and audio HAL
- Experience of Android native framework feature development with
Android NDK
Advantageous:
- Experience working with OEM partners
- Experience in automotive development
Education
- BS or MS in the areas of Computer Science, Computer
engineering, Electrical engineering, or other related fields
