(C&S) team gathers world class expertise and talent in
photographic and machine vision cameras, imaging sensors, and
depth, inertial, and bio sensing systems, and owns the development
and validation for all these sensing systems across AR, VR & Portal
product portfolios.We are looking for a Biosensor Integration
Engineer that will collaborate closely with a highly cross
functional product team in enabling various biosensing features
across multiple product lines within the FRL AR/VR ecosystem. This
individual will be responsible for the overall integration of the
sensor into product including system design, performance trade-offs
on system integration challenges, helping bridge sensor KPIs to
- Lead efforts to integrate new sensor modalities into high
volume consumer products through all stages of product development
(from prototyping, design through mass production).
- Drive component/module development activities with vendors
including schematic/layout reviews, test plan development and DFM
compatibility to enable productization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, test and
integration of electrical systems for biosensors applications in
- Failure analysis and corrective actions on integration of
sensor modules as part of NPI development cycle.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally for
supporting product development and build cycles.
- BS in EE, Physics or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics with expertise
in one or more of these areas: analog, mixed-signal, sensor/AFE
design and optoelectronics.
- Expertise in hardware design (embedded systems or sensor module
development), board level design and bringup, sensor AFE
- Product development experience with high volume consumer
devices and xVT builds.
- Familiarity with sensor systems, including optical and

physiological sensors in wearable platforms.
- Expert knowledge of sensing modalities for typical biosensors
in health and fitness related wearable products including but not
limited to photoplethysmogram, body temperature, bioimpedance and

Python, LabView, MATLAB and other scripting languages.
