This position will support the engineering team by managing the
Material Transfer requests, Production Work Requests and Test Work
Request. Responsible for managing the transferring of parts between
campus buildings to requested location. Oversees engineering
stockroom, including managing the inventory and retaining the parts
when requested. Maintains the work request interface and provides
recommendations to improve the system. Responsible for generating
reports as needed. Coordinates inter-campus parts' transfer using
Logistics team's help.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Generate work requests for parts production and in process
+ Generate test work requests.
+ Sustain the AE Logistics Request interface and provide
recommendations to improve it.
+ Update the Daily Management board for AE Logistics
+ Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and
Education and Experience (in years):
+ High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years
of relevant work experience
Knowledge and skills:
+ Self-starting, motivated individual with proven track record
of learning new skills to achieve results.
+ Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
+ Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
+ Ability to work in clean room environment.
+ Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, push
+ Position does not require actual transfer of parts. No
driver's license needed.
+ Associate Degree
+ A minimum of 2+ years overall related experience as materials
handler and/or logistics coordinator in a small-scale inventory
