Job Description:
Alpha & Omega Semiconductor is seeking an Analog Mixed-Signal
Verification Engineer with an emphasis switching regulators to join
its growing Computing Power team. In cooperation with Digital
Verification, the candidate will assist the silicon design team
with block-level and top-level modeling and verification of
switchmode DC-DC power supplies. The candidate must have a strong
understanding of analog circuits, analog/digital interfaces, and
asynchronous systems. Job duties/responsibilities: * Define and develop verification plans for mixed-signal
integrated circuits * Create test benches and models in
SystemVerilog and VerilogAMS * Fully simulate validation plan prior
to fabrication * Tabulate and track any bugs uncovered during
validation * Work with design team to debug issues * Perform analog
block-level design as needed * Implement automated regression
testing to close all known problems * Provide final documentation
of all results prior to fabrication and production release Qualifications: * BSEE + 5 years or MSEE +2 years analog mixed signal
verification experience * Skilled at modeling and simulating in
VerilogAMS * Experience with SystemVerilog Real Number Modeling and
UVM environment a plus * Fluent in Cadence design tools,
specifically the AMS Verification environment * Experience with
developing comprehensive test plans * Organized and able to provide
clear documentation of work * Understanding of transistor level
analog design techniques with power electronics a plus * Able to
work well in a remote team environment * Strong problem solving
skills Self-starter able to manage his/her own time effectively
