Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Comp, HR M&A and People Analytics, this is a critical role responsible for the establishment of this new function within the compensation organization. The role will drive simplification and standardization of processes across the compensation team by identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and automation as well as delivering on our annual programs. You will be a member of the Global Compensation leadership team and agent of change, with a focus on building Compensation excellence as we position the team for the future of work, providing best-in-class service, and optimizing resources to deliver effective results.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of analysts and program managers

Effectively and efficiently deliver reporting and analytics to enable Compensation Partners effectively deliver holistic compensation solutions to reward and recognize our talent for doing their best work.

Advance and scale LinkedIn's compensation practices and programs, including projects identified as key rhythm of business initiatives such as focal review, annual benchmarking and pricing activities, etc.

Project management of large cross-functional efforts, process and automation development, and iteration of complex yet scalable compensation models for an expanding employee base

Assessment of compensation process delivery and quality control with view on standardization and streamlining, as well as the development of creative solutions for enhancing the Compensation team's scalability, efficiency, and clarity.

Initiate the review and updating of processes and workflows across the Compensation organization.

Identify actionable opportunities, design solutions, partner with stakeholders to create and launch tactical implementation plans.

Focus on driving speed and simplicity in our delivery model by identifying automation opportunities and working closely with HR Systems and Technology colleagues to implement solutions; promote more effective use of existing tools and processes (and eliminate those that are not used or are ineffectual)

Conduct compensation analysis and perform analytical studies, such as Equity/Fairness Analysis.

Centralize & own compliance compensation requirements and act as the point of contact for internal or external compliance audits.

Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal Compensation partners, HR stakeholders and leaders

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* BA/BS in a related field. * 10+ years of experience in Compensation, with a focus on HR process/program/project management. * Experience leading and managing people with a focus on results, coaching, and career development.

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong change management skills, ability to influence, direct and communicate change across a complex global organization. * High degree of influencing and collaborative skills. You know how to simplify complex issues into digestible bites and thrive on engaging and partnering others in achieving your goals Proven ability to redefine HR practices, processes, and technology. * Strong project management skills and optimization mindset. * Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines. * Strong data analytics foundation. * Possess an understanding of progressive & innovative compensation policy and practices, including benchmarking, job mapping, pay equity, annual compensation planning, mergers & acquisition, etc. * Experience working in matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and global nuance as well as experience in international markets. * Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday?and expert level Excel skills with experience building tools. Ability to analyze data and create meaningful insights. * Excellent communicator who is innovative and naturally curious. * A proven track record in stakeholder management. You are customer focused and demonstrate confidence, credibility, and good judgment. * You have fun and love your work.
