About the job

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us - and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading improvement initiatives that will ensure Supply Chain capabilities are robust and scalable in key areas such as, capacity planning, delivery, new product introduction, supply chain management, and fulfillment automation. Your expertise in the areas of supply chain planning and operations will be critical to transform and deploy massive amounts of data center equipment and supporting technology into our global footprint. You will work closely with cross-functional teams supporting Google's rapidly growing hardware infrastructure, implementing best practices to ensure on time delivery. Your work will help evolve and transform our processes and technology towards greater operational efficiency and scalability.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

  • Manage complex cross-functional projects aimed to improve supply chain operations while driving consensus among cross-functional teams and gaining key stakeholders' buy-in.
  • Interface with software development teams to prioritize efforts, define requirements, and drive product management efforts. Collaborate closely with partner teams to identify gaps, make improvement recommendations, drive consensus, and facilitate change.
  • Drive end to end planning initiatives, ensuring functional scalability that allows the integrated supply chain to be enhanced with new functionalities with minimal effects to already existing integration balancing modern and legacy technologies.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment proactively on new process development, capabilities, solutions and lead teams through timely evaluations and decision-making.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to design and redesign supply chain capabilities, evaluating technical and business tradeoffs while developing risk mitigation alternatives.
