Job Description:

About the Position: The Total Rewards team provides the strategy and support for total rewards at Juniper, including base pay, incentives, benefits, recognition, and other forms of compensation used to attract and retain talent. The candidate will provide benefits programs support to employees and managers in the Americas. Candidate will also provide benefits administration support for other programs including health plans and retirement plans, and for other countries on an as needed basis. The Benefits Analyst role reports to the Manager of Americas Benefits. Responsibilities: - Responsible for on-going analysis, enrollment coordination, reconciliations and complex issue resolution for Juniper Networks benefits plans - Manages day-to-day plan activities in coordination with vendors: eligibility, contributions, fund and regulatory changes, and survivor benefits as prescribed by Juniper Networks plan documents - Prepares required and ad hoc reports related to benefit costs, premium contributions, regulatory reporting - Manages leave administration for Medical LOA's. Provide administrative support on leaves of absence. - Develops project plans, monitors status of projects and leads project meetings on an ongoing basis. Attends meetings as required, and participates on committees as directed - Research and evaluate company benefit plans in order to recommend improvements and new programs which strengthen overall plan design - Identify strategies to improve employee communication and education regarding the benefit programs. Ongoing Marketing of Juniper Benefits to our colleague population - Ensure benefit plan documentation, contracts and amendments are in compliance with federal and state guidelines - Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers and vendors to ensure timely customer service and accurate cost-effective plan administration - Develop and implement programs which promote employee health and wellness - Ensure the reliability, accuracy and security of the benefit data used for reporting and analysis purposes - Identify opportunities to automate benefit administration and processing which improve service levels, increase efficiency and control costs - Participate in benefits renewal process - Maintain effective working relationships within HR and with those in other departments (e.g., finance/accounting, legal) in support of Total Rewards programs Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Human Resources Management or related disciplines - Minimum 8 to 12 years' relevant HR work experience - Attention to details, strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently - Strong PowerPoint and Excel capabilities, including managing large volumes of data and lookup functions - Experience with mail and e-mail merges - Ability to work in a professional manner with all levels of the employee and manager population as well as outside vendors. - Strong customer service background. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Practice a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality. - Display tact and courtesy in dealing with employees and vendors.
