GardaWorld is looking for Security Officers to fulfill different assignments for our clients in the San Francisco Bay area.Job DescriptionDuties include but not limited to:Customer Service skillsObserve and report activities at an assigned siteAbility to sit, stand and/or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift)Ability to work indoor and outdoor in a variable environmentClimb stairs, ladders or ramps occasionally during shiftRespond quickly to critical situationsProvide access control to facilityAbility to read and write detailed reportsEnforce procedure, regulation, and standards of clientOccasionally lift or carry up to 50 poundsOther duties as assigned by GardaWorld and client contract requirementsSite Specific DutiesChecking employees and guests in and out of buildingsHanding out visitor packetsChecking that trailer numbers and seal numbers are correct and installing the seal numbers are correct and installing the sealHandling retail store mailMonitoring refrigeration, fire, and security system panels/systems for alarms and direct alarm incidents to the proper manager for immediate resolutionRoving patrols and perimeter walk at client locationsQualificationsSuccessful candidates must meet the following requirements:Legally authorized to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirementsDemonstrate a stable work historyA valid California BSIS Guard Card and 40 hours of BSIS training completion is preferredPosses or able to obtain CPR/1ST AID certificationPrior Security Truck Gate experience or equivalent is STRONGLY preferredPass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)EducationCandidates must meet the following educational requirements:Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)QualificationsEducation
