Job Description:
As part of the Advanced Hardware Manufacturing Operations team,
you will be a vital part of the Zoox Manufacturing organization
responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting complex software
controlled electro-mechanical sensing elements critical to Zoox’s
Robo Taxi. Our team has a collaborative resilient culture marked by

the future of transportation. In this technical leadership role,
you will be responsible for overseeing quality control activities
for the camera, LiDAR and sensor production line, ensuring
compliance with standards, internal procedures, and leading a team
of technicians. This role involves performing inspections,
analyzing data, implementing improvements, and providing technical
guidance to the team. In this role, you will Conduct thorough
quality inspections, execute accurate ERP quality transactions and
act as a subject matter expert for all inspection steps (Incoming
Quality Check, In Process Quality Check, Outgoing Quality Check)
for the camera, LiDAR and sensor pod lines. Lead, mentor, develop
and train a team of quality technicians on best practices for their
assigned tasks. Identify, initiate and report non conformances and
support troubleshooting of production and quality issues. Ensure
accurate documentation and proper maintenance of quality records in
compliance with internal procedures, policies and regulatory
requirements. Support Quality Engineers in the development,
maintenance of inspection procedures, work instructions and
analysis of quality data. Comply with safety regulations and the
Zoox’s safety program Collaborate with other departments to improve
processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent;
associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. At least 6 years of
progressive QA experience in a fully or semi-automated serialized
production environment of complex electro-mechanical assemblies
(Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Robotic industry).
Proficiency in using quality control tools, SAP/Oracle ERP software
and MS Office/Google Suite. Strong leadership, organizational, team
management skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability
to handle tight deadlines and manage competing demands effectively.
Bonus Qualifications Experience in Lidar, camera, or sensor
assembly, testing and troubleshooting Working knowledge of ISO
9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 standards $40 - $55 an hour About Zoox
