do. SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION: The Via Fill Operator is primarily
responsible for processing printed circuit boards (PCB) panels
through the via fill process. This includes panel prepping and
processing thru via fill, baking & planarizing according to the
travelers or as directed by Managers while following department
standard operating procedures. She/He will also act as Driver for
delivery/pick-up as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Via Fill Operator
Check travelers for special instructions, due date and special
request for priority before starting the via fill process. Verify
that all quality requirements have been met prior to moving jobs.
Assist department in achieving zero scrap per month. Perform daily
& weekly preventative maintenance on machines and perform house
keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Inform Managers of any potential problems. Interact professionally
and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, customers and
vendors. Be punctual and maintain good attendance. Other duties as
assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE: High
School Diploma preferred. 2 years experience in PCB manufacturing
industry is preferred Prior experience with via fill process a
plus. Ability to read and understand technical work instructions,
production travelers, and standard operating procedures. Ability to
follow procedures/instructions and maintain quality of products at
all time. Ability to follow priority schedule as directed by
Managers while following all department safety & standard operating
procedures. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good
computer skills and the ability to learn new skills and tasks as
required, especially PCB software (ProCim). Must be detailed
oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Ability to
occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk throughout the
day. Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced
environment. SUPERVISES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical
demands described here represent those that an employee must meet
to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk,
and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 50 lbs., bend,
stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary. ENVIRONMENT :
Manufacturing/Chemical Industrial California Salary Range: $22-$28
