Job Description:
- Maintain and manage a repository of all product-related
documents, including drawings, procedures, reports, and other
relevant materials.
- Execute document change control processes to ensure
standardization, accuracy, and completeness of documents before
release.
- Manage document revisions and ensure the latest versions are
readily available to authorized users.
- Support document workflows, including routing, approval, and
distribution, often using Agile PLM systems.
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to company policies,
industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training to users on the use of document control
systems and processes.
- Analyze document data to identify trends, issues, and
opportunities for improvement.Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in quality or manufacturing management,
Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical
experience.
- 10 years of experience with Oracle Agile PLM or similar is
highly valued.
- Understanding of document control procedures, version control,
and change management processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are
essential for managing a large volume of documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to
interact with various stakeholders, including engineers, managers,
and other team members.
- The ability to meticulously review documents and ensure
accuracy is crucial.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to document
control processes.
- Strong analytical skills are needed to identify trends, analyze
data, and generate reports.Skills
- Requires extensive Experience in working with electronic
Product Lifecycle Management systems on Oracle Agile PLM for ERP
Global Consolidation program
- Experience in implementing and maintaining configuration
management and document control processes.
- Ensure that Document Control policies and practices are common
across the company and use the Agile database system
- Participate in cross-functional, multi-site project
- Develop department and/or process metrics as needed
- Mentor / coach document control team members at all Coherent
Corp sites worldwide
- Coach / teach Agile users regarding Agile forms, processes,
requirements, and workflows
- Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Strong statistical
analysis skills requiredWorking ConditionsPhysical
