Project Lead Principal/Sr. Principal SEIT Lead based out of
Sunnyvale, CA. This role is part of the advanced development team
that will be developing next generation technology and architecture
for future platforms of marine machinery in nuclear navy engineer

automation.What you'll get to do:The Technical Project Lead
Principal/Sr. Principal SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration and
Test) Lead will lead a diverse engineering team and be responsible
for the end-to-end technical execution, cost, schedule, and quality
for hardware programs supporting the US Navy. This unique
opportunity in Silicon Valley will allow the you to work directly
with the design engineers, test engineers, and manufacturing team
producing this hardware in Sunnyvale CA. This position requires
multi-discipline knowledge in all areas related to engineering
including systems design, hardware, systems engineering, and
integration and test.The Technical Project Lead Principal/Sr.
Principal SEIT Lead will oversee engineering program planning and
execution, Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting,
briefings and providing overall leadership and coordination of a
multi-disciplined Engineering team. The position will be tasked
with project leadership and cost account management
responsibilities.The Technical Project Lead Principal/Sr. Principal
SEIT Lead will interface with multiple disciplines including
internal Executive Management, Program Management, Manufacturing,
Global Supply Chain, Business Management, suppliers, and

qualifications listed below:Basic Qualifications for
Principal:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering or Math) discipline with 5 years relevant experience;
or Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or
Math) discipline with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD
in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
with 0 years relevant experience.4+ years' experience as a
technical project lead (e.g. IPT lead, functional lead, or
equivalent).Understanding of Systems Engineering processes with
execution experience.Experience summarizing and communicating
status reports to technical leadership at a level higher than
immediate management.US Citizen with the ability to obtain and
maintain a Secret Clearance.Basic Qualifications for Sr.
Principal:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering or Math) discipline with 9 years relevant experience;
or Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or
Math) discipline with 7 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD
in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline
with 4 years relevant experience.4+ years' experience as a
technical project lead (e.g. IPT lead, functional lead, or
equivalent).Understanding of Systems Engineering processes with
execution experience.Experience summarizing and communicating
status reports to technical leadership at a level higher than
immediate management.US Citizen with the ability to obtain and
maintain a Secret Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Solid
technical foundation in systems engineering with experience in
multiple aspects of the systems engineering process, with an
emphasis on early development phases including requirements
analysis, trade studies, and proof of concept tests.Experience in
Program/Project management of hardware intensive programs including
demonstrated knowledge of earned value management.Active use of
Model-based Engineering and Agile practices.Self-directed technical
leader with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability
to act as a liaison to the customer for engineering efforts.Prior
military or government contract experience.Salary Range: $104,600
USD - $157,000 USDSalary Range 2: $129,700 USD - $194,500
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
