Nokia Standards drives technology leadership by developing and bringing innovative concepts to industry and standards organizations. This team drives Nokia's intellectual property rights portfolio and standards leadership. You will be leading a high-performance team driving for continuous improvement and world-class radio and multimedia research execution and innovation for Nokia Standards. You will be leading a team of researcher in th e area of device research and standardi zation. What you will learn and contribute to

• People management including competence management and development
• Develop high quality intellectual property (IPR's) and support strengthening of Nokia IPR portfolio
• Develop device implementation concepts/solutions supporting our standards contributions in 3GPP.
• Alignment of team deliverables with internal customers in terms of content and based on resource availability (in particular with Standardization Group includ ing Program Management, IPR Management, and Product Management)
• Ensure active participation in 3GPP for the related research to push Nokia research into standardization Your skills and experience You have:
  • Strong system background in 5G or LTE is a prer equisite
  • Strong leadership background, either with projects or line management
  • A background with a Ph.D. or master's degree.
  • A profound understanding of the area of cellular devices is a prerequisite. - It would be nice if you also had:
    • A good understanding of Radio Access solution & product portfolio and wireless business strategy is required
    • Experience in 3GPP standardization and especially RAN2,4, SA2, SA4 will be a plus
