Job Description Primary Function of Position:Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for driving test automation for Simulation projects, to identify/prioritize the automated test cases, to automate test cases by creating automation frameworks from scratch, improving/expanding existing frameworks, writing scripts and using proper test tools. This position requires an individual with strong test automation and developer level C++ and Python coding skills and experience. The individual needs to help in manual QA job if needed. Roles and Responsibilities:

• This position has responsibility and authority for:
• Driving Test Automation for Simulation projects
• Ownership in planning, design, development, implementation of test automation
• Building required test frameworks from scratch and/or expanding/improving the existing automation frameworks
• Adding required tools and creating scripts.
• Execution, Documentation and support for Product Verification and Product Validation
• Escalation of issues to internal engineering groups as appropriate Qualifications QualificationsSkill/Job Requirements:
  • Minimal Requirements: In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must have:
  • Minimum Bachelor s Degree in engineering or other technical area desired with minimum 3-5 years experience working in a regulated environment or equivalent, or Master s Degree with Minimum 2-3 years experience
  • Strong skills and experience in test automation.
  • Excellent (developer level) coding skills, experience with automation scripting (C++ and Python knowledge is preferred)
  • Experience with writing and reviewing engineering (design control) documents, including specifications, requirement documents, test protocols and test reports
  • Knowledge of manual testing with different testing methodologies
  • Ability to work with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment
  • Assertive, outgoing personality with an ability to work collaboratively within an engineering team.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, and attention to detail, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision making skills
