OverviewThe ADAS/AD team is responsible for designing and
architecting theelectronic and software systems for the next
generation vehicles with fullyautonomous driving capabilities, and
also developing core components(including hardware, software,
tools) from the ground up. Our mission isto innovate
next-generation vehicle architecture and make it happen
onmass-produced vehicles.
U Power is seeking an Electronics/SoC Specialist for its North
AmericanR&D Center. The specialist will pioneer the next
generation High PowerVehicle Computer (HPVC) for U Power's Software
Defined Vehicle Stack - acomplex system of OS, Software,
Middleware, Networking, Security, andCloud Services. The Specialist
will lead research, from initial POC into thedesign, validation,
and delivery, based on a game-changing strategy for UPower's
modular, intelligent vehicle platform.
- This position can be in Sunnyvale, CA. United States or
Frankfurt,Germany.
Responsibilities- The specialist will interface with SOC vendors
and various internal H/W and S/W teams to architect and develop U
Power's next generation HPVC to enable high level autonomous
capabilities.- Prototype, test, and troubleshoot products.-
Contribute to EEA and vehicle level integration from prototype to
production.- Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing,
and supply chain to bring products into mass production.- Be the
technical leader for product development.
Qualifications- 10+ years of industry experience in electric,
electronics, and high-speed analog and digital circuitry design.-
Strong debugging/validation experience with MCU, FPGA, AD/DA, SPI,
Ethernet, CAN etc.- Experience in design and release procedure,
familiar with electronics design common practice.- Hands on
experience with hardware development and troubleshooting.- Strong
experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout
tools.- Familiar with various equipment (Oscilloscope, probe, power
analyzer, etc.)- Experience in EMI/EMC test and mitigation.-
Experience with power electronics.- Knowledge of safety and EMI/EMC
requirements related to high speed, high-frequency digital
applications.- Knowledge of environmental and reliability
requirements for automotive in industrial and residential
applications.
