We won't give up until we've made a tangible and positive impact on agriculture.Position Summary:We are looking for a Machine Learning Robotics engineer to help design and build software for our robotics pipeline and machine learning tasks. This position is for an exciting new program that sits at the intersection of agriculture, machine learning, and robotics. Our Autonomous Tractor project has tremendous potential to help farmers, to shape global farming practices, and to have a major impact on one of America's most iconic brands. If that sounds interesting please read on:Position Responsibility:Design, implement, and integrate algorithms for camera or radar based perceptionDesign and develop online calibration subsystems for multi-camera perceptionExperiment new sensors and integrate it into the robotics stackApply machine learning to improve object detection and monitor job quality.Contribute to analytical framework for agriculture data and gain insights from it.Required Experience:BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or other specialties such as Robotics, Computer Vision, Sensors, etc.Strong expertise in writing modern and production quality C++ and Python code for robotics and CVML systemsDesire and passion to work in a fast-paced, production oriented environmentSelf-driven/enthusiastic/motivated to solve exciting engineering problemsExcellent interpersonal skillsMission aligned to improve safety and productivity of the equipment.Ability to work effectively within a geographically-distributed teamDesired Skills & ExperienceExperience in working with CVML & Robotics projectsExperience in working with vehicle autonomy space.Experience in working with GPUs and FPGAsExperience in metrics implementation, and analysisBlue River offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a great 401(K) match.
