In Component Engineering, Technology, and Quality (CETQ), our vision is to empower Bullet Proof Networks by driving Juniper's Component Quality to Excellence and delivering reliable Component Technologies. Job Summary: As a member of the Juniper CETQ team, the candidate will represent Junipers expectations of excellence in component quality and reliability to our suppliers and their manufacturing sites located throughout Asia. He / She will execute audits and report out metrics to influence our suppliers and Juniper's supply chain team. Responsibilities include: Leader in the assessment of supplier capabilities, weigh-in on supplier selection, perform Supplier Quality Audits and contribute in the development of Commodity Strategy Measure and report on suppliers' capability and quality performance. Provide leadership on supplier quality improvement plans and component defect reduction projects. Drive CLCA methodology and 8-Discipline (8D) Approach to Problem Solving techniques Facilitate continuous improvement practices and manufacturing process control implementation on critical measures at component suppliers. Participates in Supplier Quality Engineering strategic initiatives and assists in driving them to ensure consistency within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanics Engineering, or equivalent. 8 years plus experience in Semiconductor Industry on Manufacturing/Engineering/Quality Engineering. Subject Matter Expert on Quality Management Systems, Process Capability Study, 8D, FA/RCS, experts on quality improvement tools( Six Sigma, CTQ, SPC, FMEA,DOE). Clear verbal and written communication, executive summary capability and presentation skills Tactically responsive, flexible, execution focused, and resilient Ability to lead cross functional teams through collaboration and expertise Experienced with International Suppliers / Manufacturing Proficient in leading teams or working independently to perform supplier site audits. Willing to travel within Asia
