issues. - Our Human Resources office is located on Folsom Blvd in
Sacramento, CA. Positions Available: -

- Accident & Life Insurance (after 60 days)POSITION SUMMARY: -HR
Director develops and implements organization-wide policies and
programs encompassing all aspects of human resources management
including employment, employee compensation and benefits, employee
training, recruiting, employee relations, organizational
development, and regulatory compliance. Works with executive
management to develop human resources strategies and policies.
-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the
organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to
support this mission through talent management.
- Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's
human resource and talent management functions; assesses the
organization's success and market competitiveness based on these
metrics.
- Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation,
benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive
programs.
- Formulates and recommends human resources policies and
objectives, for the entire organization, to establish competitive
programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Monitors
exposure of the organization. Directs the preparation of
information requested or required for compliance. Acts as primary
contact with labor counsel and outside government agencies.
- Protects the interests of the Company and employees in
accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental
laws and regulations.
- Responds to all current and former employee claims against the
company with regard to: discrimination, unemployment, wage claims,
wrongful terminations, etc.
- Represents the organization at high-risk personnel-related
hearings and investigations.
- Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of
management; determine and recommend employee relations practices
necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship
and promote a high level of employee morale.
- Serves as a link between management and employees by handling
questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping
resolve work-related problems.
- Oversees investigations when employee complaints or concerns
are brought forth.
- Counsels and advises managers in interpreting and applying
policies and procedures to resolve issues related to recruitment,
compensation, disciplinary action and conflict resolution. Mentors
and coaches managers with HR situations.
- Use of independent judgment and discretion to provide guidance
and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with
resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions,
concerns, and issues. Approves recommendations for terminations in
collaboration with executive management as needed.
- Oversees the compensation programs. Analyzes compensation
policies, government regulations, and surveys to ensure all
compensation programs, procedures, and practices are consistent
with the company's overall objectives. Reviews operations of the
compensation program; job evaluation, performance management,
employee succession planning/development and salary
administration.
- Oversees the recruiting functions. Develops and drives strategy
for companywide recruitment initiatives. Sources, interviews, and
presents candidates whose values are in line with the company's
goals and needs. Seeks and utilizes unique applicant sources.
Monitors recruitment campaigns and orientation programs for new
employees.
- Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify and determine
causes of personnel problems and develops recommendations for
improvement of organization's personnel policies and
practices.
- Directs the design, selection and implementation or
modification of HRIS and other HR computer solutions. Manages
maintenance and accuracy of employee data for reporting and
distribution.
- Works with brokers to obtain cost-effective benefits that serve
the needs of both the Company and employees. Recommends
modifications to benefits programs and policies to ensure that
programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal
requirements and company goals.
- Defines all Human Resources training programs and assigns the
authority/responsibility of Human Resources and managers within
those programs. Ensures necessary education and materials are
provided to managers and employees including workshops, manuals,
employee handbooks, and standardized reports.
- Hires and trains qualified candidates for HR roles.
- Conducts performance evaluations for direct reports that are
timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion
and salary adjustment as appropriate.
- Supervises assigned staff to ensure that work meets quality
standards and adheres to specifications.
- Handles discipline and termination of assigned staff as needed
and in accordance with company policy.
- Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related
field.
- Human Resource Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or
PHR-CA) or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of hire.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of Human Resources experience with
increased responsibility, operations, leadership and strategy.
- Human Resource experience in healthcare.
- Experience working in Human Resources in California.Preferred
- Master's degree in a related field.
- HR Experience at a company with locations in multiple
states.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Required
- Human Resource Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or
PHR-CA) or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of hire.Sierra

reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it

worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in
