We are looking for a skillful HR Payroll to be part of a company's
accounting and human resources departments to ensure that employees
get paid and employers make the appropriate deductions when

RequiredShift Structure: 8 hours per day x 40 hours per weekReports
to: ControllerDepartment: FinanceJob Functions:Summary The primary
purpose of this job position is to act as a liaison between Links
Healthcare Group and skilled nursing facilities. The primary
function of this role is to ensure that employees are accurately
and timely paid using a proactive payroll audit.Specific duties
include, but are not limited to:Act as the company expert on
timekeeping procedures, payroll processing for the facilities and
corresponding payroll systems.Provide bi-weekly payroll audit prior
to payroll processing.Provide Quarterly payroll Internal Audits for
each facility.Provide training on all updated payroll policies and
procedures.Insure payroll is compliant with state and federal
statutes.Insure each facility is compliant and current with
payroll-based journal.Provide training on NHPPDEnsure the hours on
the Labor Distribution Report reflect the actual hours worked in
each department.Liaises between the facilities and payroll
providers.Payroll/Internal Audit:Audit, reconcile and submit PBJ
for all facilities.Audit punch times to ensure compliance with meal
and rest period requirements.Audit attendance reports to provide
guidance and feedback on tracking, progressive discipline.Audit
garnishments, vacation, pto, sick time accrual and benefit and
voluntary deductions.Audit employees with greater than
24hrs/dayAudit Exempt employees with greater than 80 hoursAudit
employees with excessive OTAudit employees with transfer hoursAudit
for ghost employeesAudit employees on LOAAudit On-Call/Per Diem
employees working an excess of 30+ hours a week for 4 pay
periodsAudit ACA eligible employeesAudit FT working less than 30
hours a week forAudit Employee Data Change Form or PAN for accuracy
and approvalKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProven working experience in
payroll in a multi-site settingExcellent knowledge of payroll
lawsEffective communication skillsExcellent organizational and time
management skillsProblem solving skills and ability to
multi-taskComprehensive knowledge of payroll-based journalStrong
oral, written, and organizational communication skills
requiredWorking knowledge of payroll policies and procedures,
federal and state statutes pertaining to FLSASome knowledge of
personnel procedures and regulationsSkill in the use of modern
office equipment including computer hardware and applicable
software; skill in the use of a calculatorAbility to communicate
effectively verbally and in writing; ability to create effective
working relationships with employees and other departments.Must
maintain confidentiality regarding employee personal and wage
information.QualificationsAssociate's degree (A.A) or equivalent
working experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience. College degree is preferred2+ years full cycle payroll
experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in skilled nursing
facilityRequirements:Must be able to read, write, speak, and
understand the English language.Must be willing to travel 70% or
moreProof of right to work in the United StatesValid CA Driver's
LicenseProof of vehicle insurance
