The team you'll be part of Nokia's People organization is responsible for leading a business-driven people strategy and offering people and workplace services to all Nokia employees. We partner closely with the business to provide a motivated and engaged workforce that is fit for the future. The purpose of this role is to manage the Nokia job architecture and run our base compensation processes to deliver market leading cash compensation solutions for Nokia employees. In this role you report directly to our global Head of Cash Compensation and will be part of our global Total Reward team. Location: The successful candidate can be located anywhere where Nokia has a major presence. What you will learn and contribute to As part of our team, you will: * Working in the CPO People Direction organization, you will lead the operations of Base Compensation design, deploy and communicate global compensation programs and initiatives in the areas of base compensation, market pricing, employee recognition, supplemental pay, and development and maintenance of our global job architecture. * Design and deploy global compensation programs and initiatives in the following areas: o Base compensation, including leading the annual salary review, salary budget forecasting and tracking, job leveling, and ensuring programs align with the pay for performance principle o Market intelligence, data submissions to external surveys, market pricing to benchmark compensation levels, and development of competitive salary ranges. o Employee recognition programs including Everyday Excellence and business specific programs, managing the relationship with the external partner o Supplemental pay, including on-call, call-in, overtime and shift premium policies o Job architecture, including amendments to the Nokia job catalogue as per business requirements following the defined governance model * Validate that Nokia compensation programs are internally equitable, externally competitive, and meet the dynamic needs of the business by evaluating and researching industry trends and regulatory factors affecting compensation and rewards. * Work on different cost models especially total cost of employment to support organization workforce strategy and business prioritization * Apply a continuous improvement mindset, focus on the needs of end users, streamline and simplify processes, and maximize automation and digitalization opportunities. Your skills and experience You have: * Extensive global compensation experience at a senior level, with solid exposure to the Engineering, Computer Science and/or IT industry * Proven experience in successfully designing, communicating and deploying compensation initiatives/projects in complex, large scale organizations and solid business acumen and awareness of key business trends impacting total rewards * In-depth knowledge of core compensation concepts and best practices It would be nice if you also had: * Strong consulting experience (in-house or from consultant firm), combining analytical thinking with highly effective communication skills, and ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization * Customer focused with a passion to drive positive change * Detailed oriented, accurate, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality * Systems savvy.
