Registered Nurse (RN) | Obstetrics/Gynecology Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,365 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in San Francisco, California, 94158! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a fast-paced OB/GYN ambulatory clinic. License: California RN License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - BSN - Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. - Excellent communication skills. - Candidates must be willing and able to float to other units and facilities as needed. Description: The position requires 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a fast-paced OB/GYN ambulatory clinic. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. A California RN License is a must. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is necessary. Candidates should possess knowledge and skills crucial for fulfilling the duties of the role. Strong communication abilities are essential. Candidates must be flexible to float to various units and facilities as needed. The role involves interacting with patients and conducting assessments. Skills such as obtaining vital signs, performing pelvic exams, and conducting pain assessments are important. Knowledge in medication reconciliation and interpreting laboratory results is required. Candidates should be aware of high-risk OB conditions and handle cases such as ectopic pregnancy and vaginal bleeding. Potential responsibilities may also include telephone triage and referral coordination.
