Speech Language Pathologist Location: Napa, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,960 to $2,120 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 18 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $49.00 - $53.00/Hourly. Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Inpatient Rehabilitation evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders resulting from illness, injury, or neurological conditions. The SLP works as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to help patients regain functional communication and safe swallowing for improved independence and quality of life. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing. Diagnose and treat dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, and cognitive-communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and functional needs. Perform bedside swallowing evaluations and recommend appropriate diet modifications. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License, Locals accepted at lower rate.
