to BSN Assistance Position Overview: Registered Nurse (RN) –
Orthopedics Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St.
Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours per week
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sign-On Bonus: Experienced
Nurses: Up to $10,000 New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of
experience): Up to $5,000 Role Summary: The Registered Nurse will
employ the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring
professional accountability for the care of assigned patients. This
role involves assessing the effectiveness of care provided by other
caregivers and coordinating patient care with various departments.
Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality is
essential, as is performing responsibilities in alignment with our
mission, values, and service standards. Qualifications Education:
Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with one of
the following: Associate Degree in Nursing Nursing Diploma Bachelor
of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: A current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in Missouri is required, or compact licensure in
accordance with state nursing board regulations. Experience:
Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred and may be
necessary depending on the unit. Certifications: Required: Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart
Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Preferred
Qualifications: Education: BSN is preferred Licensure: Additional
state licenses or specialty certifications are preferred
Experience: Previous experience in a specialty area or similar
clinical environment Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly
push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs Prolonged standing and walking
throughout the shift Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist,
