This role is essential in providing leadership and support for the
daily operations of the unit, ensuring that patient care is both
safe and efficient. The position involves coordinating patient
placements and staff assignments, assisting clinical personnel, and
overseeing clinical activities. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate
communication among staff, medical teams, and families. Support
educational training and orientation for new staff. Engage in
quality improvement initiatives. Respond to changes in patient
conditions effectively. Oversee inventory management and equipment
maintenance. Collaborate with management on budgeting and resource
allocation. Perform nursing duties as required and participate in
organizational committees. Position Overview: Title: Registered
Nurse (RN) – Clinical Supervisor, Med Surg General Surgery 3W
Location: Our facility located at 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis,
Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours per week Shift: Night
Shift Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an
accredited nursing program. Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a
current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
where nursing duties are performed. Must fulfill all requirements
set by the state board of nursing. Certification: Required: Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart
Association or completion within 30 days of hire. Experience: A
minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a supervisory role is
preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is advantageous. Physical
Requirements: Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50
lbs. Prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Capability to
grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary for job
