As the Manager, of Recruiting Operations at Proofpoint, you will
report to the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition, and will be an
integral member of the Recruiting team with the ability to make an
impact both internally and externally. As a people manager, you
will manage the global Recruiting Coordination team, ensuring
process efficiencies are in place for our recruiting teams in the
U.S. and EMEA. In addition to leading operations and managing
recruiting compliance, you will also own Proofpoint's Contingent
Workforce Program, managing all vendors and facilitating contingent
hiring worldwide. You will serve as the main point of contact for
internal needs related to contingent workforce hiring. You will
also manage the background check process and vendor relationship.
The ideal candidate will be customer service focused and have the
ability to work well in an unstructured environment and balance
multiple competing priorities while maintaining a high rate of
success and attention to detail. A candidate who has a love of
technology and cares deeply about cyber security is
------------Lead and provide guidance and mentorship to the
Recruiting support team. Ensure the team is functioning well and
provide direction / remove roadblocks as needed.
------------Our team always strives for improvement! Utilize your
deep recruiting experience to conduct regular assessments of
process inefficiencies and develop solutions that address the true
challenges while ensuring scalability and full team education and
------------Develop operations assimilation plans for recruiting
coordinators, sourcers and recruiters. Maintain policy and training
manuals, recruiting wiki, etc. Build resources that educate team
members and employees and help others to be successful.
------------Analyze and recommend enhancements to processes as
related to the candidate experience. We strive to provide all
candidates with a top notch experience, and the Recruiting
Operations Manager will review each candidate touch point to make
certain we are providing the best experience possible.
------------Administer global recruiting compliance and processes
(e.g. background screening, internal process requirements,
collection and storage of required documents etc.).
------------Oversee the Contingent Workforce Program and all
contingent recruiting (i.e., vendors, agency temps and independent
contractors) and on-boarding, identify and vet agency partners and
vendors globally, and track all program data. Establish
relationships and partner with leaders and HR Business partners to
educate on process and policies regarding the contingent workforce
program. Work directly with hiring managers on processes and
------------Negotiate agency contracts, including terms, mark up
and conversion rates.

------------8+ years of progressive experience in Recruiting, with
at least 2 years as a people manager (high tech experience is a
------------Strong experience with an HRIS, ATS, and/or workforce
------------Experience managing or building a high performing

them motivated and tie them into the bigger vision.
------------Effective project management / time management skills.
You are a critical thinker and can determine when issues need to be
escalated, and what the right path of escalation should

appropriate decisions and assessments.
------------The ability to own a global program, and utilize
resources effectively. You have a global mentality, and the ability
to think across functions and cultures.

------------Experience in contingent workforce program
management/design/enhancement that is business enabling with
appropriate buy in/understanding to ensure successful
implementation and compliant execution.
------------You don't have to have been an English major - but you
are effective in both written and spoken communication. In addition
to mindfulness toward grammar/spelling, you know how to communicate
message appropriately to different audiences.
