Description: As the Western Regional Security Senior Manger oversee several facilities in the Western United States to include a large Category AA facility and several facilities located on military facilities. Manage and partner with multiple security disciplines to include disciplines with overall security responsibility for industrial security, security investigations, governmental/program classified security, security engineering for all programs and classified work within the Sunnyvale, CA cage code as well as the cage code at Vandenberg AFB, El Segundo, CA, Santa Cruz, CA, cage codes. Manage several managers that oversee multiple program security representatives of very large DOD programs and efforts located across the United States. Government Security management experience of a large DSS/multiple program facility required for this position. Must have extensive knowledge and experience with the application of the DCID/ICD, NISPOM, JAFAN and other government policies and directives necessary for contractual compliance. Must have experience in DoD, SCI and SAP/SAR activities to include direct interface with the Defense Security Service (DSS) and SAP customer agencies. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Responsible for the successful / satisfactory outcome of all government inspections at the sites listed above. Position requires administrative oversight of a staff which includes administrative tasking (timecard approvals, vacations, sick leave, staffing levels, etc.) and other responsibilities commensurate with the overall successful operation of an organization. Ability to interpret complex Government requirements and translate into company policy for implementation in order to meet business objectives. Must be able to interpret government policy and provide security guidance and direction to the program(s) supported. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications. The Western Regional Security Senior Manger position will report to the SPACE MilSpace Security Director. Experience with managing budgets, recruiting and hiring personnel, administering disciplinary actions, leaves of absence and other HR related actions, Classification Management, Subcontracting, and Security Agreements (DD441 / DD441-1) required. Travel will be necessary. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to Energize the Security Team, Build Effective Relationships, Shape the Future, Deliver Results, and Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted records and materials. In conjunction with program security representatives develops security education efforts for all facilities. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Basic Qualifications: Final Top Secret/Current SSBI (within past 7 years). FSO Certification. NISPOM experience. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Extensive management level industrial security experience interfacing with external customers/agencies. Demonstrated success of multiple government agencies inspections i.e. DSS, NSA, US Navy, US. Air Force, FBI. Knowledge of classification guidance. Strong interpersonal and team building skills. Willing to travel. Desired Skills: Proven record of successful completion of complex tasks. Experience in coordination of departmental/capital budget. Detailed understanding of ITAR requirements. Management of Government Security program for NISPOM-related activities affecting Category A/AA facilities to include international operations, DD-254 management, personnel and physical security program management. Liaison with various Government agencies (FBI, NSA, ICE, TSA etc.). Interface with various levels of management internal and external to LMC. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience in INFOSEC, OPSEC, COMSEC, and Counterintelligence. In-depth knowledge of CSA Designated Databases (JPAS, ISFD). Experience with the SIMS Database. Strong Presentation Skills.
