You take extreme ownership and want to create value.This role will champion the implementation of quality management system from the ground up and be responsible for the quality of our supplier, design, engineering and production. This role will understand and ensure the compliance requirements, and communicate with key stakeholders and customers about our quality and compliance strategies and operations. How You Will Make An Impact

• 
  
• Manage successful implementation and certification of Quality Management System (QMS), which includes preparing Quality manuals, procedures, and related documentation.
  
• Develop processes and documentation for compliance and reporting of QMS metrics to management and recommend improvements for performance.
  
• Create quality documents in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations.
  
• Partner with engineering team and business development team on automotive qualification and compliance requirements
  
• Manage internal records relating to compliance and quality throughout the design/engineering/production/manufacturing process.
  
• Train staff in engineering and production practices and quality assessment.
  
• Identify and document processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOP) or Best Practice Documents (BPD) as required.
  
• Support planning and execution of Internal Quality compliance audits and Supplier Audits.
  
• Ensure that there are processes in place to monitor and measure all activities related to quality assurance performance improvement.
  
• Develop, measure, and report key quality metrics to drive quality, safety, efficiency and compliance.
  
• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
  
• Determine whether defects are due to poor workmanship or materials that were improperly manufactured or supplied by another company.
  
  Basic Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing plus 7+ years of experience with ASPICE and supporting both hardware and software automotive qualification and compliance; or MS degree plus 5+ years of experience.
    
  • Experience developing and implementing quality assurance plans
    
  • Experience working in a manufacturing quality environment, preferably in automotive or tier-1 plant
    
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
    
  • Expert knowledge of quality management systems
    
  • Strong problem-solving skills
    
  • Training experience
    
  • Certification in quality management
    
  • Familiarity with auditing standards
