We build hope.We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team!Preferred location: - St, Charles, MO or Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)What you'll do at Elekta:Elekta Software Business Line is responsible to bring all Elekta developed commercial software to the Global market. -From identification of radio therapy needs for software solution to support cancer treatment, all the way to delivering the solution to end customer including procurement bundling, shipping, installation, and training of software end users.The purpose of the role of Procurement Manager - is to manage direct material and services spend across several commodities, achieving excellent and measured results for quality, cost and on time delivery. Works Closely with local key business stakeholders to develop sustainable sourcing strategies and implementation plansThe US base salary range for this position is $150,000-191,000[NOTE: It is understood that no single candidate will have equal expertise in all the areas of responsibility below. Successful candidates will possess a compelling combination of many of them and the self-awareness and wisdom to leverage existing and/or new resources in the area(s) where they lack personal mastery.]RESPONSIBILITIES - -

• Responsible for the development of sourcing strategies for all commodities needed by Software Business Line, taking due account of stakeholder mapping, spend analysis, understanding of current and future demands, supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
• Responsible for the development of sourcing strategies for all 3rd party software needed by Linac Business Line, taking due account of stakeholder mapping, spend analysis, understanding of current and future demands, supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans in order to secure business continuity.
• Responsible for the selection of suppliers in compliance with the Elekta sourcing process whilst ensuring selection is robust and fit for purpose.
• Negotiate best practice terms with suppliers.
• Ensure robust supply agreements are in place with key suppliers.
• Maintain and if possible, reduce and consolidate the approved supplier list (ASL).
• Monitor and improve supplier's performance on cost, quality, delivery, service and contract compliance.
• Encourage open book costing and competitive tendering.
• Takes initiative on achieving the lowest total cost of ownership through negotiation, value engineering, low-cost country sourcing, supplier reduction and supplier consolidation.
• Maintain system parameters and data integrity for Procurement systems. - -
• Continuously develop and maintain supplier relationship management strategies including a governance structure and use of regular business reviews ensuring an inclusive approach to supplier management.
• Perform annual evaluation of each supplier performance regarding: quality, in full and on time delivery and contract obligation fulfilment.
• Work closely with the key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction, efficiency and supplier quality improvement strategies and implement these.
• Manage the supplier interface during the industrialization of new product and/or maintenance to ensure early supplier involvement and to meet Elekta targets.
• Ensure appropriate know-how of global supplier markets within applicable markets, categories etc.
• Contribute to developing and implementing procurement best practices.
