Role: Technical Program Manager
Location: Hybrid (Sunnyvale, CA)


Roles & Responsibilities
Working with engineering teams to define clear program scope, schedule, and stakeholders and define working agreements and perform retrospectives to facilitate continuous improvement in delivery.
Leading teams in technology component and service work decomposition, execution plans, execution, feedback loops and transparency.
Interacting with application development teams, product owners, leaders, and executive sponsors for team communications and escalations. You may also provide program management tools, JIRA usage, and delivery coaching for engineering and project managers.
Facilitating geographically distributed teams across global time zones.
Wear a hat of Product Manager role in certain areas and of the product road map

Qualifications
Have experience with SRE applications, Cloud deployment, cloud management technology
Have enterprise software engineering program management or project management experience for full SDLC.
Have experience using product backlog management tools like JIRA and Confluence for planning, execution and release transparency
Have experience with Agile methods including Scrum and Kanban.
Have experience defining project plan work breakdown with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, deliverables, and dates.
Can document and communicate project commitments, progress status, issues and action plans to leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
At least 5 years experience in technical project / program management
Can articulate technical concepts in business terms through MS Office tools including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to understand and decompose software product components and services, including experience with MS Project
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to constantly move or push towards a goal
Comfortable in a fast paced, growing environment

Nice to Haves
Knowledge of Cloud Platforms architecture, Capacity Management, Application Management and Deployment.
Experience migrating applications to the cloud, and managing technical escalations
Experience with private and public cloud managed service on Azure, GCP, and Open stack.
Industry certifications which may include; Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agelist, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
