looking for a Sr. Product Manager with a growth mindset to own and
drive user acquisition at the start of the Subscriber lifecycle.
This is a new role focused on scaling the premium version of an
iconic product with a loyal user base- you'll have the opportunity
to define the future of Yahoo Mail Plus, full ownership of your
focus area, and the support of the team to drive launches and
decisions quickly in a highly collaborative environment.As an
acquisition PM, you will be responsible for identifying and
tackling delightful, engaging, and effective new ways to:
- Drive subscriber acquisition and upgrades
- Ensure activation and adoption of Mail Plus features within the
subscriber's first month
- Deliver against our total paid subscriber goalsWhat you'll do:
- Own the acquisition roadmap and product lifecycle, including
ideation, data-backed prioritization, design, requirements
definition, through to testing and launch
- Work closely with our other Mail product colleagues, data
science UXR, marketing, design, engineering, and leadership teams
to identify new opportunities, test and launch new subscription and
activation tactics across offers, channels, messaging, and
creative
- Leverage data to drive decisionmaking, manage tradeoffs, and
develop business cases
- Collaborate with our Feature and Retention PMs (who will the
stages of the subscriber lifecycle post-month one) to deliver new
offers and tactics that build on top of new feature launches, is
conscious of the subscriber life cycle, and puts users needs and
expectations first
- Align and energize key stakeholders, team members, and
colleagues across Yahoo to position your product for success and
win any support required to successfully execute
- Work on a daily basis with the design and front-end engineering
teams as well as convey platform needs and functionalityWhat it
takes to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in consumer digital product management
or product marketing with track record of managing product/program
from concept to launch
- Demonstrated ability to drive paid subscription conversion,
activation, and user growth
- You're comfortable running lots of experiments, iterating, and
making decisions quickly
- You have a strong understanding of subscription revenue
generation, acquisition, and activation strategy, tactics, and
metrics
- You can develop highly strategic longer-term plans and
frameworks as well as manage tactical requirements to drive new
initiatives to launch
- You can prioritize competing opportunities, are able to
leverage data, judgment, and experience to manage trade-offs over
product lifecycle, and articulate the data-driven rationale behind
decisions.

this position ranges from $84,000.00 - $194,375.00/yr and will vary
depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation
opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or
commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides
