Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager to:
lead and supervise site Facilities Engineering technical team
and/or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair
utilities systems, buildings, and equipment via one or more of the
following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry,
air-conditioning, heating, painting, and/or general maintenance.
The Facilities Engineering Manager will lead the execution and
management of facilities projects that support both sustaining
infrastructure and new program facilitation requirements in the
areas of facilities equipment reliability, facilities maintenance
including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC);
structural and civil engineering requirements; lighting; roofing;
fire protection; and other specific structural needs. Responsible
to assist in all aspects of the organization's physical
infrastructure needs, coordinates with architecture/engineering
firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and
detailed drawings.
Experience Requirements:
Interact will all levels of the organization and external
representatives
Strong oral and written communication skills
Interpreting building and utility drawings and making the revisions
as required
Developing and updating Preventive and Predictive maintenance
initiatives
Developing short and long term corrective actions for existing
and/or repeating issues
Developing energy conservation initiatives, cost improvements and
efficiency improvements
Have applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) and AutoCAD capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
9 years of facilities maintenance and engineering experience with a
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field (i.e. Civil,
Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical); or 5 years experience and a
Master's Degree; or 13 years exp total in Lieu of degree.
3-5 years of project, program, and/or people leadership
experience
Strong mechanical skills and exposure to a manufacturing
environment
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
A broad knowledge of environmental, health and safety
regulations
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to obtain a Confidential clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid background in Facilities Maintenance and Repair
Ability to network and negotiate at all levels within an
organization to accomplish objectives
Knowledge of a Computer Maintenance Management System, i.e.,
Maintenance Connection
Salary Range: $134,600 USD - $201,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
