DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:The Director of Leadership
development will be responsible for the strategy, design,
development and delivery of high impact Leadership Development
programs and solutions that build and strengthen Intuitive's
leadership capabilities. - This individual will partner closely
with Talent Management & Development, HR Business Leaders and
Intuitive Business Leadership to assess and prioritize needs, align
offerings to business strategies and enterprise leadership
expectations. This leader will plan, prioritize and execute on a
multi-year roadmap of leadership programs. -Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Establish an enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for
building critical leadership capabilities at all levels to enable
Intuitive's business strategy and growth plans
- Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to determine key
leadership learning outcomes, measurement strategies that include
experience and impact measurements for core programs and effective
design approaches to achieve key outcomes
- Establish annual demand planning and prioritization process to
deploy most impactful leadership solutions to highest need
areas
- Partner closely with Talent Management & Development, HR
Business Leaders, People Solutions and other key business leaders
to sponsor, design, develop and deliver impactful leadership
solutions
- Own, optimize, and manage your portfolio's operations,
including demand analysis, budgeting, resources, facilitation
strategy, delivery management, communications, evaluation,
reporting, content evolution, deployment technologies, and vendor
relationships
- Develop effective marketing, communication and change plans for
portfolio of solutions and individual programs
- Lead and develop program teams (direct and matrixed), ensuring
strong collaboration and stakeholder management
- Establish and maintain a strong network of external leadership
development vendors and thought leaders
- Evaluate and leverage effective and innovative learning
technologies to support the delivery of leadership development
programs on a global scale
- Design and develop programs that provide global application and
scale with ability to tailor and adapt for local relevance and
impact
- Leverage a holistic approach to development that emphasizes and
includes self-awareness, experiences, exposure to business
scenarios, and builds connections and relationships with
people
- Partner with Director of Talent Practices to assess, maintain
and/or refine Leadership Expectations, Success Profiles and
Competencies as foundation for development and growth
- Partner and support other talent strategies and initiatives,
including Performance Management and Inclusion and Diversity
- Establish a portfolio of solutions that supports all leaders,
as well as targeted solutions to help build and strengthen
leadership pipelines for critical roles
- Perform as an internal thought leader, subject matter expert
and speaker on topics of leadership
developmentQualificationsSkills:
- Demonstrated thought leader and subject matter expertise in
Leadership Development
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships, collaborating
with partners at various levels in the organization.
- This position will need to interact and influence all levels of
the organization, including VP & above.
- Ability to engage and navigate multiple stakeholders with solid
stakeholder management skills
- Adept at working in a matrix environment; exceptional
collaboration, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to formulate and execute leadership development
strategies with a multi-year plan
- Strong strategic consulting skills that leverages strong
business acumen, industry knowledge and subject matter
expertise
- Strong facilitation, presentation and speaking skills,
delivering to small and large audiences (in person and
virtual)
- Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, objectivity
with the highest professional ethics, and always maintain
confidentiality.
- Effective analytical, problem solving, and decision-making
skills.
- Data-driven and able to synthesize key insightsExperience,
Education, & Training:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in leadership development
design and delivery, including global, enterprise programs.
- Minimum 5-7 years of people leadership experience, including
managing remote and matrixed resources in a global setting
- Experience with multiple learning design and development
methods, including blended learning programs
- Experience with learning measurement strategies, including
experience and impact-based measurements
- Bachelor's degree in a business or HR-related field
desired.
- Masters Degree in Business or HR Related Field is preferred.
