Together, let's advance the world of minimally invasive care. -Job DescriptionYou will be working on our da Vinci Single Port (SP) platform, which represents the next generation of robotic-assisted surgical technology. - The newest addition to the da Vinci Surgical System family, SP takes minimally invasive surgery to a new echelon, enabling complex surgeries to be completed using only one incision; and for some applications, no incisions. - You will be joining a growing SP Product Management team, working alongside experienced teammates passionate about advancing new technologies in service of better patient outcomes.Your Role: -Reporting to the Group Manager of Capital & Commercialization, you will be accountable for leading SP's expansion into new geographies working hand-in-hand with corporate, regional, and local cross-functional teams, as well as supporting SP's utilization in existing markets. -Specifically, you will represent the SP platform's regional strategy when pursing new clearances and will define the system-level value proposition specific to each geography. -Setting regional clearance prioritization will provide opportunities for global collaboration, strategic thinking and subsequent execution to enter new markets with unique requirements. -This role will require close collaboration with corporate and regional stakeholders including finance, regulatory, legal, global/market access, sales, marketing, customer success, and training.Finally, you will champion the continued development of new feature sets on the current SP system as it acquires new clearances both domestically and outside the US, providing opportunities to interface with and lead cross-functional teams including: Product Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Clinical Development Engineering and Advanced Product Development.Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead geographic market expansion projects through regulatory clearance and commercialization processes, including development of Go-to-Market plans in partnership with corporate and regional Marketing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure successful market entry of SP system and its portfolio of products
  • Position SP value within clinical, competitive, and policy/payer landscape
  • Generate product claims in support of SP positioning
  • Catalog user needs, product feedback, and other primary market research to champion long-term system-level product roadmaps defined by providing clinical, operational, and economic value to customers
  • Define product requirements and project scopes that represent user and corporate needs across new product development, sustaining engineering, and lifecycle activities
  • Be the subject matter expert for SP and its competitors, providing expertise to regional sales and marketing teams, surgeons, hospital administrators and OR staff
  • Act as liaison to customer and commercial education teams to build cross-functional processes and deliver educational materials in support of global market entries
  • Define requirements for development of SP instructions for useQualificationsSkill/Job Requirements: -
    • 7+ years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is desirable
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or a related discipline required with a history of defining and launching successful products and programs in a life sciences company
    • Surgical and/or operating room experience desired
    • Experience with international product launches desired, including ability to clearly communicate and drive execution of launch activities across multiple cultures
    • Proven experience in adapting communication styles to accommodate cultural nuances across varying levels of management; multicultural understanding and empathy required
    • History of developing strong commercial and KOL partnerships to drive product requirements and VOC feedback
    • Ability to take complex concepts and simplify their application to be understood across multiple audiences and deliver messaging in front of senior leadership
    • Great teamwork skills with a proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. This includes the ability to work well in bridging communication between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customers.
