At Meta, our infrastructure organization is comprised of the teams responsible for developing and operating our data centers and global networks, as well as the compute, storage, and network hardware and software upon which all Meta services run.As the Director of Product Management, High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems, you will be building and managing a PM team that will be building the next generation HPC systems, including their full lifecycle, that enable deployment of solutions at planet scale and meet Meta's growing product and business needs. HPC Systems constitute a crucial part of our future infrastructure and company growth.You will be passionate about identifying, delivering and scaling the next generation disruptive infrastructure compute and networking technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate and have proven success in building and managing PM teams, including growing product managers into organizational leaders and working closely with a broad range of technical and non-technical cross-functional partners. In this role, you'll invest in the growth of your team by helping set clear expectations and development plans; providing regular, actionable feedback; and coaching or sharing resources/opportunities, as needed, to hold your team accountable to success. You will create strategies for new and large product areas and help guide your team, as well as influence other parts of the company, to leverage existing or emerging data/research to drive effective execution in largely ambiguous spaces.You will have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-growing and dynamic environment, nurture a culture that develops people & engineering skills, embrace open technologies, influence industry direction and the proven ability to execute successfully from product development through the hyperscale deployment into the Meta data centers globally.Director, Product Management, High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems ResponsibilitiesEstablish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product executionDrive the strategy for a portfolio of products to create a deliberate plan and a cohesive strategyLead a team through the ideation, development, and launch of innovative products in areas of significant strategic ambiguityDrive product development with a team of world-class engineers in both hardware and software, partnering with cross-functional team members including content strategists, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers distributed around the worldAttract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leadersEstablish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product executionDefine and analyze metrics that inform the success of productsUnderstand Facebook's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industryMaximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the normManage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure organization is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goalsIdentify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas and builds teams necessary to executeUphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, innovationRecruit, develop and retain a world-class team of top product managers who are recognized subject matter experts and have experience in hyper scale infrastructureMinimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, and/or Product Design10+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, and industry ecosystem teams5+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leadersExperience analyzing, interpreting, leveraging data, and handling ambiguity to make business decisionsProven organizational, communication, execution, cross-functional and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in building products related to high performance computing systems for AI/MLExperience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplacesMBA or equivalentAbout Meta Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
